Synthetic pesticides and fertilizers used in conventional farming disrupt not only plant growth but also human health. The World Health Organization classifi es common pesticides like glyphosate as probable carcinogens, and chronic exposure through food consumption can impair liver and kidney functions. Consumers face risks of chronic diseases, especially in India where regulations and enforcement vary across regions. Switching to naturally grown vegetables limits these exposures, promoting better immune system function and overall wellness.

Further, a WHO report estimates that globally, pesticide exposure causes about 200,000 deaths annually, many due to poisoning and long-term chemical exposure through food. Indian consumer health is uniquely vulnerable due to lax pesticide regulation enforcement, poor washing practices, and lack of awareness.
